Enjoying your retirement

You spend years working towards your retirement, so we want to make sure it’s better than you ever imagined when you get there. You want to be able to do the things you’ve always dreamed of doing, and that’s what we want for you too.

Retirement has changed over the past 20 years, with people living much longer but still retiring quite young. This can mean 30+ years spent in retirement. To make sure you stay on track, it’s crucial to keep a plan in place, and update it each year.

With proper planning, we can work with you to update your plan each year, to allow for things which changed over the past year and add things you know will change in the next year. All of this is matched to the long-term projections so you can see the impact of these changes. Keeping the plan updated gives you the peace of mind that you’re still on track while allowing for smaller adjustments now to bring things back on track when unexpected events occur.

Many people don’t give enough thought to the qualitive aspects of retirement and when they don’t they become more apprehensive about actually retiring. Think about yourself retired and what you are going to do, whether it is golf or travelling. You will need to identify with your retired self to really appreciate your retirement.
